Who is responsible?

What we collect and why

Your email and your choice of customer or business owner are needed for the launch list. Your name and your town or village are optional. Owners must also give their name, business name and category so we can tailor our communications. These details do not create a public business listing.

We use them only for preparation and launch updates. We also record your chosen language, request time and consent-text version to document your request. We do not ask for sensitive data, identity documents, payment details or phone numbers.

Your choice and consent

Registration is voluntary. Clicking “Keep me posted” requests the emails described on the form. Your details are added to your chosen list as soon as you submit the form. We do not send a confirmation email, so please use only your own address. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. This does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

This consent does not cover other Visrah Ltd services, other businesses’ advertising or an account on the platform. The form is for people aged 16 and over.

How long we keep your details

We keep the waiting list until launch. After the launch email, we delete the waiting-list details. We do not automatically transfer them into an account or an ongoing marketing list. When the platform opens, you choose afresh whether to share your data and for what purpose.

You can request deletion before launch. Minimal information needed to honour an unsubscribe request or a legal obligation may need to remain separately; we do not use it for promotions.

Which services process data?

Cloudflare hosts the site and receives form requests. Brevo processes registration details and separate customer and owner lists. These services may process data outside Mauritius. Visrah Ltd must finalise storage countries and applicable transfer safeguards before opening registration.

Hosting and email services may process technical data such as IP addresses and security or delivery logs. Our form does not add your IP address to Brevo contact attributes. We do not sell your details.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion or restriction, object to marketing and withdraw consent. Email [email protected]; we may ask only for what is necessary to verify your identity. You can also complain to the Mauritius Data Protection Office.

Cookies and changes

Please read our cookie policy. We will update this policy if processing changes; new uses of your data will need their own lawful basis and appropriate information.
